MSD designed this 85786 Pro-Billet Distributor for 351 Small Block Ford Windsor engines with steel gear. The housing is CNC-machined from 6061-T6 billet aluminum to exact tolerances. For stability well over 10,000 RPM, a sealed ball bearing as well as a long-sintered bushing supports the .500" steel shaft.

This oversize shaft has a QPQ coating for reduced friction as well as resistance to corrosion. TIG-welded on top of this steel shaft, the mechanical advance mechanism can easily locked out for all out racing use! The supplied springs and stop bushings allow also you to tune an advance curve to match your application.

Also, this must be used with an MSD 6, 7 or  8-series ignition.
