About The Piece

This bespoke ring was designed to transform an old engagement ring into something more durable and modern. Featuring a stunning Australian sapphire, the ring is set in 9-carat yellow gold with a 9-carat white gold band. Yellow gold granules add a unique texture, giving it a fresh, timeless look. This piece is part of my inspired ocean jewellery, all carefully handmade in Cornwall.

Client Story

Alix came to me with her original engagement ring, which she felt didn’t reflect her style anymore. It was made in silver and didn’t have the durability she needed for everyday wear. She chose one of my signature designs, and together we reimagined the piece. We kept the beautiful sapphire as the focal point, allowing it to shine in its new setting. The transformation gave the ring a new life while keeping its sentimental value intact.
