The Regulus DBV2 ¾” Double Thermal Relief Valve is a specialized solution designed to protect heating systems from overheating. This relief valve ensures effective temperature regulation by automatically releasing hot water and replacing it with fresh water in case of overheating. Its robust brass housing and precisely controlled thermostatic elements make it suitable for continuous operation.

How Does the Double Thermal Relief Valve Work?

The innovative design of the Regulus DBV2 ¾” reliably protects the heating system from overheating. Once the temperature reaches the set limit of 97 °C ±2 °C, the relief valve opens and releases hot water from the heat source. Simultaneously, the filling valve ensures the supply of cold water and quickly cools the system. This process is automatic and controlled by two thermostatic elements inside the valve. They close once the water temperature drops to a safe level, ensuring continuous regulated heat supply without interruption.

Applications of Regulus DBV2 ¾”

The double thermal relief valve is ideal for heating systems where the risk of overheating is present. With a maximum boiler output of up to 220 kW (when both elements are used), it is suitable for both residential and industrial heating systems. Its versatility is ensured by a high maximum temperature of 110 °C and water pressure resistance up to 6 bars. In addition, the DBV2 ¾” offers an excellent solution for increasing the safety and efficiency of heating systems, especially in areas with high temperature control requirements.
