Holiday Special Antique Eapg Cake Stand Us Glass 15086 Mirror Plate C1904 Series [CBKpgcIQ]

This is an antique EAPG cake stand made by US Glass in the 15086 Mirror, aka Mirror Plate, pattern. This pattern was introduced in 1904. The top is round and sits on a pedestal stand. The centre of the top is slightly indented in order to hold brandy, a culinary custom during the Victorian and Edwardian ages. The piece measures 10 1/2 in diameter, measured across the top and has a height of 6 1/2 - it weighs a little over 4 lbs. It is in excellent original condition with no chips, wear or cracks, but there is a straw mark across the brandy well (see last close-up photo) - this is original to the making of the piece, so shouldnt bother anyone too much as straw marks are rather common. This antique cake stand displays beautifully - lovely presentation for a cake!
