Description

The Laydown60 walk-in bathtub measures 30” wide and 60” long to fit into standard 60” alcove openings. This walk-in tub accommodates petite or average sized bathers who struggle stepping over the high threshold of a standard bathtub.

The Laydown60’s centered inward swing tempered glass door, a low step-in threshold, and textured floor, will reduce the chances of tripping and slipping when standing in, showering, and entering or exiting the tub. In addition, the unique vertical tub wall design offers a wider interior floor space opposed to that of a standard curvature of conventional bathtubs.

Note: Bather’s height and weight is 5’3″ and 120 lbs.

Ella’s Lay Down 30” x 60” is vacuum formed from a solid, long-lasting acrylic sheet. Under the acrylic shell facade is a rust proof, stainless steel frame reinforced with multiple fiberglass mesh and gelcoat layers to ensure the durability of the tub’s structure. The frame also has multiple leveling legs that can be adjusted for an easier installation and stronger support. The non-porous material in white gloss finish is easy to clean and impermeable to mold and mildew.
Ella’s Lay Down 30” x 60” Walk-In Tub’s main feature is the unique tempered glass inward swing door with a brushed finish aluminum frame. The sleek door is designed in the center of the tub, which establishes a vertical tub wall and creates a wider interior floor space opposed to that of a standard curvature wall. This, along with a low step-in threshold and textured floors, may reduce the chances of tripping and slipping when standing in, showering, and entering or exiting the tub. An optional glass shower screen is available to make your tub more shower-like.
The Lay Down 30” x 60” comes with our Single 2” Drain with emergency pull up chain, consisting of two 2” outlets and an overflow.
Note: The Lay Down 30” x 60” does not come with a faucet.

Massage Technology

Hydro Massage System

The Hydro Massage System includes: a hydro pump with an in-line water heater, eco-friendly ozone sterilization system, hydro massage intensity dial control, and strategically positioned hydro jet system for targeted and effective massaging.

The in-line water heater helps maintain the water temperature at constant level while bathing, if the water tank can produce enough hot water. It is suggested to upgrade to the largest available 75-gallon water heater to ensure enough hot water. Please consult with a professional contractor to determine if your water tank can provide enough hot water for a walk-in bathtub. Our ozone sterilization system is the most eco-friendly, chemical free disinfectant that can eliminate a wide variety of inorganic, organic, and microbiological bacteria. The sterilization system is especially helpful in eliminating odors and hygienic maintenance. The in-line water heater and ozone sterilization automatically engage when the hydro massage push control is pressed down when turning on your jets. The hydro massage intensity dial control allows you to adjust the strength of the water stream by adding more or less air into the hydro system.

The Ella 30” x 60” has eight (8) strategically placed hydro jets in order to deliver optimal therapeutic relief. These jets provide relief to your back, hips, thighs, feet and calves.

Warranty

The limited lifetime warranty of parts is nontransferable and applies only to the original customer living at the address of the installation. The warranty relates to all fittings and components including: the bathtub shell, frame, motors, pumps, fixtures, electronic controls, faucet, drain, and overflow. The warranty of the door and door seal is only valid if the alignment of the bathtub and the door is done correctly, and the alignment of the door is not affected by the bather’s weight applied to the door, which may result in misalignment of the door and/or a water leak. The plated finish may be covered by the limited lifetime warranty under normal use and conditions, however the warranty does not apply to a finish that is fading, cracking, delaminating, blistering, or scouring due to excessive wear, sun fading, or cleaning. Additionally, the warranty does not extend to products previously used as display models, products that have been modified or repaired by anyone else but Ella’s Bubbles, and does not apply to any failure resulting from negligence, abuse, misuse, misapplication, chemical corrosion, or improper maintenance. A relocation of the product or alteration and/or modification made of or to the product or system(s) will void the limited lifetime warranty. Should service be required for any reason of defect or malfunction of the product, Ella’s Bubbles will ship the part to the original customer's address without charge (for the contiguous USA and Canada customers only), contingent on verification of the defect or malfunction. In order to verify the defect or malfunction, a photo and description of the issues must be presented to an Ella’s representative. Ella’s Bubbles is not liable for any incidental expenses or material charges in connection with removal or replacement of the product or parts. Disclaimer: Limited Lifetime Warranty for Parts Does Not Apply to Thermostatic Control Valve (TCV) Thermostatic Control Valve (TCV) warranty has a (1) year limited warranty which does not cover cartridge malfunction due to contaminated water with calcium, iron or other found heavy particles in the water resulting in TCV not properly operating. The TCV must be protected with a filter or mesh placed in the water lines, which must be cleaned periodically. Ella's Bubbles offers cleaning service for the cartridge for a nominal fee: labor + shipping. Cleaning of the cartridge is done at Ella's Bubbles facility, or can be completed by a contractor hired by the customer. The removal and cleaning of TCV should only be performed by a licensed and insured contractor or plumber. Non-Ella brand faucets covered under the manufacturer’s original warranty are not covered by the Ella’s Bubbles Warranty.

All Ella Tub orders are processed within 24 hours and production time is typically 3 to 10 days, unless items are out of stock.

Shipments and deliveries are handled by our third party shipping companies and the typical delivery time is 3-7 days. Email [email protected] for tracking information. Due to global shipping and logistics issues, unexpected delays in processing and delivering your order may occur. If delays occur, we will update you via email.

1.3 Shipment confirmation and order tracking

1.4 Damages

If you received your order damaged, please contact [email protected] directly to file a claim within 48 hours of receipt of your shipment. Please be sure to carefully open, save all packaging material, and inspect your purchase for any concealed damage before filing a claim. Inspection includes visual and an operational inspection (see product manual for details).

2.0 International Shipping Policy

2.1 Customs, duties, and taxes

Luxury Tubs Direct is not responsible for any customs and taxes applied to your order. All fees imposed during or after shipping are the responsibility of the customer (tariffs, taxes, storage, and other related costs).

Return Policy

Luxury Tubs Direct has a 30 day return policy on all Ella Tubs unless otherwise stipulated in your invoice. The restocking fee is 25% of the original order amount, less taxes and shipping costs. The customer is responsible for all associated costs of shipping the return.

To return your product, follow these steps:

1. Start the return process by emailing [email protected]

2. Once you receive authorization to return, carefully package and ship the product to Ella’s Bubbles, 2700 W Roosevelt, Chicago, IL 60608.

3. Once our warehouse team receives the returned item, it will be inspected for any damage and missing parts. Returns inspection will take 24-48 hours before generating a report for the Office Manager. If any items are missing or damaged, your refund amount will be reduced by the cost of replacing/repairing damaged or missing parts.

4. Our Office Manager will review and process your return within 24-48 hours of receiving the report from the warehouse team.

5. Once we process a return, you should expect to see a refund of your original product purchase amount plus taxes (if any charged), less 25% restocking and any additional refund deductions for damaged or missing parts. The refund amount will be reflected on your account within 5-7 business days.
