The leather on this is some of the most amazing I have seen. It looks well worn and broken in, and yet it is a gorgeous and refined piece of Italian vegetable tanned leather from Walpier in Italy. It features a card pocket and fits one Field Notes size notebook. This gorgeous hand stitched journal cover comes with a Field Notes brand journal with 48 pages of lined paper. When filled it can be replaced with any brand journal that is 3 ½" x 5 ½" .

This journal cover was hand cut and and hand stitched with Vinymo cream color stitching for a polished sophisticated look. It is made with Freedom, from Conceria Walpier in Italy it is a vegetable tan leather in a rich brown color. I am excited to see this age to a beautiful rich patina. The leather has a very rustic pull up but will develop a rich dark patina over time . It really must be seen to be believed.
