A beautiful vintage Yves Saint Laurent brooch, richly gilded and shaped as a butterfly, its wings adorned with deep purple enamel.  

Designed by the legendary Robert Goossens—known as Monsieur Bijou—for Yves Saint Laurent's Spring/Summer 1993 collection. Goossens was a master French jeweller who also created for Balenciaga, Dior, and Chanel.

Signed Made in France YSL on the reverse.

Dimensions: 3.3 cm x 2.7 cm at widest point.

There are two versions of this brooch - small and large. This is the small version.

Beautifully crafted and in excellent condition.
