The Arcadia is carved from Stentor's highest grade spruce and highly figured maple, with ebony fingerboard and pegs. There are no shortcuts to making this violin, crafted by hand with chisels, knives, gouges, and scrapers, no power tools, just skilled workers using traditional hand tools. The Arcadia is made in much the same way that violins have been made by hand in Europe for hundreds of years. Stentor's best violin, a violin with real finesse.
All our violins are inspected prior to dispatch by our in house violin technician and come set-up with bridge and sound post fitted. The bow is also checked and is pre-applied with rosin so you are ready to play as soon as you take it out of the box.
This is a full outfit, Included with the Arcadia violin is a Hidersine pernambuco bow and an oblong hardcase.
