What Danelectro say....

The DC59M, a stalwart of the Danelectro range since the late fifties and used by a plethora of artists through the years including Jimmy Page, Jimi Hendrix and Mark Knopfler, comes with the modern (hence the M suffix) tuneable, die cast bridge for improved intonation, and of course the classic dual Lipstick® pickup configuration - but with a interesting twist!

Recently, the manufacturer found a large amount of the Lipstick® pickups they misplaced 15 years ago… and after giving them a listen Danelectro realised they had even more twang and classic bite - whether this because of the aged magnets, or materials used back then no-one is sure, but certainly demand is going to be high for this very limited run of one of the worlds most recognisable guitars.
