We have for sale a simply stunning sterling silver Blue John reversible pendant. It has been beautifully hand crafted in Sheffield, England. In a large hexagonal shape and set with a totally unique piece of Derbyshire Blue John on one side and stunning Labradorite on the other. There is a feature hallmark from the Sheffield Assay Office with date letter X. It is completed with a 20" sterling silver curb chain.

Blue John stone is a rare, semiprecious mineral, fluorite, found at only one location in the world. This is at Treak Cliff Cavern which is at the western end of Hope Valley near Castleton in Derbyshire, England. The name Blue John derives from the French Bleu Jaune, meaning Blue John. It was first discovered by miners exploring the cavern for lead.

Labradorite is a member of the Feldspar family and is treasured for its remarkable play of color, known as labradorescence. It is a stone of transformation and is a useful companion during periods of change, imparting strength and perseverance.  It balances and protects the aura, raises consciousness and grounds spiritual energies.  Excellent for strengthening intuition - promoting psychic abilities.
