These bronze plates are the Cape Dory builders plates that were available as an option upgrade to the standard plastic for the factory. Traditionally they were mounted in the companionway of the cabin, and on boats without a cabin (Cape Dory Dink, 10, Handcat, and 14) they were mounted on the inside of the transom. We hand cast all of these plates. Upon purchase please email us with your hull number. Custom engraved hull number is included with your purchase. This plate measures 4 1/8" x 2 5/8".
