The NG8POE-1 features eight twisted-pair RJ45 Gigabit Ethernet ports that support auto-negotiable 10/100/1000 Mbps and auto MDI/MDIX functionality, so crossover cables and uplink ports are not needed for connections to PCs, routers and other switches. No configuration is required, so you can have your Gigabit network up and running immediately. IEEE 802.3x flow control (full duplex) and back pressure (half duplex) allow smooth transmission of large files.

Because this network switch supports PoE, it can supply the power to operate compatible PoE devices, such as wireless LAN access points and bridges, VoIP phones and/or IP video cameras.
