After the launch of X9b, HONOR has introduced a cheaper X7b smartphone in several markets. The phone packs a 6.8-inch FHD+ LCD screen with 90Hz refresh rate, is powered by Snapdragon 680 SoC with 8GB of RAM and 8GB of RAM expansion. It has a 108MP rear camera along with a 5MP ultra-wide camera and a 2MP depth sensor, and features a 8MP front camera.

The phone has a 63° curved rear design with a streaming texture in the rear design. The phone has a side-mounted fingerprint scanner and packs a 6000mAh battery with support for 35W flash charging.
