They wanted an SPD compatible pedal with a legitimately grippy platform on the other side so their officers' feet were 100% secure whether clipped in or using flat shoes, on any terrain.

The Shimano SPD compatible cleat retention system includes simple release tension adjustment so whether you're clipping in for the first time, gradually building your confidence or in high pursuit, the feel of getting in and out of the pedal can be customized for your preference.

It's the platform side that sets the CT30 apart from all others in the market; while many single sided platforms feel like you're ice-skating on Teflon at the first glimpse of moisture, the CT30's large concave platform combined with eight replaceable pins keep your feet securely planted over the roughest terrain and in all conditions.

Performance is further aided by the lightweight CNC machined aluminum body, sealed bearings and machined Cr-Mo axle which all contribute to the impressive 12.8-ounce weight.
