Gorgeous ceramic handmade in Paris, stamped with the Astier de Villatte monogram and the initials of the artisan who crafted it.Created in 1996, Astier de Villatte; an artisanal ceramics workshop in Paris, the only one of its kind, which takes and modernizes the tradition of Parisian manufactures of the 18th century and brings the art of stamping and clay molding up to date. With clay from the famous Parisian Seine River these beautiful, delicate  pieces of pottery take days to make, including molding, air drying, firing and glazing. The swirled marbleized glaze  has  a magnificent appeal that is modern yet timeless.
