The Monitor Audio Silver 500 7G are the largest floorstanding speaker in the range, it is, therefore, the most capable speaker in the range.

Designed for medium to large rooms the 500's deliver a rousing performance, able to deliver the most subtle of notes to the heaviest of bass. They are a superb listen, they deliver a wonderful subtlety to the music and capture your attention immediately.

The mid-range is put simply breathtaking, delivering a clarity not often found at this level, the soundstage is wide and expansive allowing you to listen deep into the recording and pick out the detail of each instrument with ease.

All this is capable thanks to the latest generation of drive units, employing the renowned Ridgid Surface Technology drivers that Monitor audio has used for a number of years, however, they have now been advanced to RST II a redesign that ensures that the drive units are even quicker and more accurate delivering an even better listen.

To use these new drive units Monitor Audio has taken the speaker crossover to the next level, carefully balancing the output of each drive unit to ensure the very best possible sound.
