Ultimate 3t Tornova Pro Handlebar Kit [CHqrx7fu]

The 3T Tornova Pro Handlebar starts with the Tornova shape and adapts it to work with 7075 aluminum alloy. The flattened top is there, the constant-radius curve on the drops is there, the two-degree cant is there, with small adjustments to account for the material.

The only change is how they shape the tops. Rather than the freedom that shaping in carbon provides, 3T was limited by needing to make the shape out of a single tube of aluminum. The top is a bit larger, but still very flat, and the cables no longer run inside the bar, but in a flattened area underneath it.

The Tornova blends a classic drop shape with a modern top. The modern element is the flattened tops. As these don’t need to go through the stem clamp, they don’t need to be round or small. 3T flattened this because it offers greater hand comfort, and less frontal area to present to wind.

The classic element is the round bend. The curve has the same reach and drop as the Rotundo. 83mm reach, 139mm drop, but the curve is changed to create a flat shelf transition from the tops to the hoods and more room to move your hands on the hooks.

And there’s an added plus. The drops flare outwards by two degrees starting just below where the hoods are clamped to the bars. This results in an increase of one centimeter in width between the hoods and the tips. The bars are measured from the center of the drops, so a 42cm center-to-center is 42cm by the hoods and 43cm by the ends. This should add to wrist comfort when on the drops.

The clamp is the standard 31.8mm and should work with all traditional handlebar clamps. The center section is strong enough for aero bar extensions to be clamped on-so long as you use the center section only. Weight for the 42cm size is 285g.
