Key Features and Specifications

This exhaust system is designed to retain the stock catalytic converter while providing an authoritative exhaust sound without being intrusive. The polished-stainless Monster muffler features a straight-through 4-inch diameter flow-path with a Banks-designed expansion chamber, which dissipates mid-range exhaust drone. The muffler utilizes spun ceramic and very-high-temperature packing, more than doubling stock exhaust flow. The 5-inch polished rolled-edge tip is adjustable and available in chrome-over stainless or high temp black.

Installation and Compatibility

This system is specifically designed for 1999-2003 Ford 7.3L Power Stroke engines, without a catalytic converter. It comes with a 1/2 inch air gap to prevent heat from tarnishing the finish. However, some vehicle configurations may require an extension kit for proper fit. This system is not compatible with trucks built in 1998. The extension kits for Extended Cab Long Bed, Crew Cab Short Bed, and Crew Cab Long Bed are available.
