Condition

This is an absolutely spectacular and extremely rare vintage Omega Constellation Calendar which was made in 1958. This piece features a stunning honeycomb dial which displays a fully functional date complication. The watch is in perfect working order and is keeping excellent time within specification.

Dial - The dial is generally in lovely condition for its age and just shows light signs of aging. The dial really does give this piece a stunning 1950s luxury aesthetic. 

Case - The stainless steel case back is in very nice condition showing just some mild scratches whilst the gold plated front is in excellent condition. 

Crown - This piece features its original Omega stamped crown which works perfectly in all its functions. To change the time, pull the crown out once and rotate. To change the date, it has a semi quick set function whereby you rotate the hands back and forth between the 8 and 12 to bring the date on by one day.

Movement - This watch houses a fully functional 500 Automatic movement which is in perfect working order and is keeping excellent time, well within specification. 

Case back - This piece features its original constellation stamped back case which is in great condition and shows some light scratching. It also has an 18ct solid gold medallion which shows some amazing gold patina. We have not polished this to keep the watch true to its original condition. You can always polish this yourself if patina isn’t your thing! 

Strap - This watch is sitting on a new brown leather strap which compliments it perfectly.

Crystal - The crystal is in near perfect/perfect condition. There are no visible signs of wear. 

For a watch of this age, this piece is in spectacular order and is ready to wear!
