INSTALLATION AND PLANNING INSTRUCTIONS:
The protective tube is set in vibration by the incident flow. If the specified incident flow velocity is only slightly exceeded, this can have a negative effect on the service life of the thermowell (material fatigue). Please note the permissible incident flow velocities for stainless steel thermowells (see diagram TH-VA) and for brass thermowells (see diagram TH-ms).
Gas discharges or pressure surges must be avoided, as these impair the service life or irreparably damage the thermowells.
