Absolutely NO LIVE SHELLING is performed in the making of this or any other Captibel jewelry. All starfish are non-endangered and were purchased from a local shop on Sanibel Island, Florida, then cleaned, treated and clear-coated individually. As a result, they look delicate and are extremely lightweight but are also quite resilient.

Since nature presents sizes and shapes at her whim, each starfish will vary slightly. The starfish on your necklace will measure approximately 3/4" to 1" each. The chain on your Double Starfish Bar Lariat will measure 36" and can be worn any number of ways alone or layered with other pieces.
