This beautiful 4.5” dial Ship’s Bell Admiral Clock was originally sold to Abercrombie & Fitch on September 30, 1927. The Admiral features a solid forged brass case with a verde finish, mounted atop a matching verde base. Its silvered dial features etched Arabic numerals and decorative blued hands. The clock’s 4L eleven-jewel movement has been completely overhauled. Part of a long line of Admiral clocks produced by Chelsea, beginning with this 4.5" model in 1917, the grand Admiral Clock was retired in 1985. Chelsea Clock official serial number: 178241
