Versatile Gebr. Muller Stuttgart Dessert Or Child's Cutlery Set Carbon Steel Bone Circa ~1900 [best Value] [BPxzfQ9F]
Gebr. Muller is a long running cutlery shop in Stuttgart Germany, these were made for them in a quintessentially German style. The knife is a German Buckels pattern and the fork a very late 19th early 20th C style.
Forged and hand ground carbon steel shows use but no abuse, nice and secure in their cow bone handles with nickel ferrules.
Like all other culinary knives this should never go in the dishwasher, carving knife handles will come loose with high heat (dishwasher, stove top etc), carbon steel can rust if left wet or dirty, expect a patina to form with use.
Knife is 7 3/4" overall length and fork 6 3/4"
