Vintage Foster Bros Fulton Brand cleaver in excellent condition. Cleaver needed a light cleaning and sharpening but hasn’t been used too heavily or abusively. Hardwood handle is tight and secure with no cracks or damage. This is possibly the perfect size cleaver for most butchery

Foster Bros operated out of Fulton NY, cleavers like this were made for the US military during WW2 and also into the 1950’s.

The 1107 refers to the steel type and carbon content. The first 2 numbers (11..) refer to plain carbon steel and ..07 referrs to .7% carbon content.
