Unused vintage Friedr Herder Constant series stainless steel 8” slicer made in the 1960’s. These were an excellent stainless knife for their day and are great examples of mid century design. Stainless blade with rosewood handle with famous spade rivet.
Friedr. Herder Abr Sohn company is the longest continually operating knife making operation in Solingen Germany. It’s famous Pikas spade logo was registered in 1727 although their place in Solingen’s blade making traces further back.
