About Laurie
Laurie Wright grew up in Stillwater Minnesota. After High School she attended the University of Minnesota, where she studied abroad in London and received her Masters Degree in Education. After graduating she moved to San Francisco, California. This is where she pursued a career in teaching, fashion, real-estate and marketing. In 2012, she met her husband and business partner. He, Chad, worked in Importing and could not find a good fitting sock that would stay up on his feet. Being that Laurie worked in fashion, the two of them set out to create a good quality sock. Fast forward 10 years later and they own a full on apparel company, called Modern Envy Apparel.
