The 175 CP4 is a high capacity shredder in every sense imaginable, with an oversized 16 inch (40.6 cm) feed that can accommodate up to A3 sized paper, a 46.2 gallon (175 liter) catch basket, and hardened steel cutters that can slice through paper clips, staples, CDs, DVDs, and plastic credit cards and ID cards.

But the 175 CP4’s extremely high shred speed and capacity does not mean that users sacrifice security for the sake of speed, producing shred pieces less than one-fifth inch square (1.2 cm square), far smaller than those produced by most office shredders and complying with the P-4 DIN 66399 specification.
