Meticulously selected stringers in complementary and neighboring hues are individually fired with the intention of melting together organically. Once placed on a precisely measured plate of glass matching the size and shape of the slumping mold, the pieces are fused into one smooth surface. A final kiln firing shapes the glass into the desired slumping mold form.
