An early 20th century edition of the sermons of Saint Bernardino of Siena, Italian priest and Franciscan missionary, who was later canonised by the Catholic Church as a saint.

This work is bound in a Florentine-style vellum binding, with hand painted designs and lettering to the front cover, ornate leather stitching to the covers, and yapp edges. The original leather straps are still present.

One hand-painted vellum bound volume in octavo, 220 pages

On note of condition, this volume is in very good shape with minor rubbing and wear to the binding. There is minor foxing to the title page, and virtually no foxing or staining throughout the rest of the book, though the pages are tone.
