Applications and Specifications

Sikagard 700 S is a versatile impregnation suitable for a wide range of applications, including waterproofing and protective treatment for materials like concrete, cementitious mortars, bricks, fiber cement, ceramic tiles (non-vitrified), natural stone, ceramic tiles (non-vitrified), and more. It can also serve as a hydrophobic primer under solvent-based protective coatings and as a waterproofing treatment for concrete surfaces in art projects or building structures. The product is formulated with a mixture of silanes and siloxanes in an organic solvent, resulting in an incolor liquid with a specific gravity of approximately 0.80 kg/L at 20°C. It requires a consumption of approximately 0.300–0.500 kg/m² per layer (0.375–0.625 L/m²) for surfaces with normal absorption. Sikagard 700 S should be applied when the ambient temperature is between 5°C min. / 30°C max., and the base temperature is also within this range.
