This tri-scale digital refractometer has been designed for the measurement of seawater/saltwater. It comes programmed with both Seawater PPT (parts per thousand) and Seawater Specific Gravity (SG) scales, as well as having an empty scale ready to be defined by the use. This refractometer is ideal for testing water in saltwater aquariums as well as for environmental use such as assessing salt marshes or lakes without the need for additional calculations.

The design of the OPTi digital refractometer makes testing salt water aquariums easy. Simply use a pipette to apply a very small sample to the easy clean prism dish and press “read”. The OPTi will give you your reading. No mess and no ambiguity.
