This OPTi refractometer comes with 2 preset scales and space for a user defined scale. It has been created with the determination of alcohol in mind as a primary function.

When used alongside a hydrometer this OPTi Digital Handheld Refractometer allows for calculation of %ABV up to 20% volume/volume. This makes this particular model ideal for trading standards officers, company auditors, wine makers and cider makers. It is especially useful for monitoring ferment in bottle processes such as cava, prosecco and some specialty beers.
