When we designed this scarf, we thought of the beauty of Jupiter. To get the effect, we started with a mix of cotton and silk to give it an airy feel. We then added the 'jupiters' as 'jamdani' dots of ikat-dyed threads. Jamdani is a technique where the embroidery is actually an additional thread that is brought into the weft during weaving. Very few weavers can create this effect and we are proud to have them on our team and provide work for them - while creating something beautiful.
