The 3-hour class covers all the essential aspects of machine sewing, from threading the machine and winding a bobbin to understanding different stitch and tension settings. You will learn how to sew with a seam allowance, edgestitch, zigzag stitch, hem, french seams, and even create a boxed bag bottom. The class fee of $75 includes all necessary materials, such as cotton duck or canvas fabric, cotton webbing, thread, and an 'EWE Made It' label, ensuring you have everything you need to create a beautiful tote bag. A useful tote bag will be your hands-on project, allowing you to practice the skills you've learned and leave with a finished product. The fabric material and color may vary from the photos, but the quality and utility of your tote bag will remain consistent.
