This course contains the following modules:

1. Health and safety responsibilities - In this module you will look at health and safety at work, legislation, COSHH, the risk control hierarchy, RIDDOR, and how employees meet legislative requirements.

2. Sharps users, risks, and safe disposal - In this module you will look at sharps and what they can be used for, hazards and risks, risk reduction, and safe disposal.

3. Sharps injuries - In this module you will look at sharps injuries and what to do in the event of an injury, post exposure prophylaxis (PEP), immunisation and health surveillance.

This course takes learners approx 1.5 hours to complete.
