This General Lock Grade 1 L100 Series Cylindrical Lever Lockset is a durable and secure locking solution designed for classroom applications, providing reliable security with a clutched mechanical R-lever that resists forced entry and internal damage. The classroom function lock features a deadlocking latch bolt that is operated by a knob or lever from either side of the lock. The outside knob or lever can be locked or unlocked using a key from the exterior. When locked, the outside knob or lever is inoperative, preventing entry. However, the inside knob or lever remains fully functional at all times, allowing free egress regardless of the lock status.
