The S122 head line is designed for use on most European and Asian imported moulders. Plus we have added features not offered by the German tool makers such as a high alloy strong tool steel body for greater tool life and deeper knife pockets to allow wider and thicker steel to be used for additional resharpenings. Dual Hook cutterheads offer a 12 degree cutting angle for hardwood to reduce raised grain and a 20 degree cutting angle to reduce fuzzing in softwoods. Only 2-knives are required on non-jointed molders; using 4-knives will not improve the surface finish. We offer filler wedges for the empty unused pockets. All cutter heads are precision CNC machined from high strength hardened alloy steel and designed to operate at speeds up to 9,000 rpm. Molder heads are made to exceed the most stringent European OEM standards allowing you to produce smooth material finish with years of trouble free use. Knives and filler wedges sold separately.
