Maintenance & Care

Clean the screen filters every two weeks with a vacuum using a soft-bristle brush attachment. In more demanding environments—like homes with pets, indoor smoking, or commercial use—filters may also be gently washed with warm, soapy water. Allow filters to dry fully out of direct sunlight before reinstalling.

⚠️ Important: Never operate your unit without the filters installed. Consider keeping a second set on hand to stay on schedule with cleanings.

Replacement Guidance

Although reusable, screen filters gradually lose effectiveness over time. Replace every 12 to 24 months depending on environmental conditions and maintenance habits.

Optional Activated Carbon Freshness Filter

This kit includes an optional freshness filter that fits into the pre-molded holder inside your screen filter. The carbon media helps neutralize odors and airborne VOCs from tobacco, pets, and cooking—improving indoor air quality between cleanings.
