La Bien Aimée Merino Sport is featured in Joji Localtelli's beautiful design, the Aimée Cardigan. Originally published in Interpretations Vol.7, the pattern is now available for individual purchase on Ravelry. Named after our very own Aimée, who created La Bien Aimée, this cardigan is deceptively simple, an instant classic! Aimée created three new colors for this design to complement Caramel and Emeline and create the perfect color palette: Maize, Artemisia and Esmée. 

Here is how Joji herself describes this cardigan: 

This cardigan has abundant ease, with perfectly tailored shoulders and set-in sleeves. It is worked seamlessly from the top down. The sleeves are picked up and worked in the round. The button-bands are worked once the cardigan is finished, to give the finished piece a professional look."

How to choose your size: 

Here are the sizes given in the pattern: 1 (2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9). 
Finished chest circumference: 41¼ (45½, 50, 54½, 58¾, 62¾, 67¼, 72, 76)” 103 (114, 125, 136, 146, 157, 168, 180, 190) cm. 

Recommended ease: 12-16” 30-40 cm depending on how you like to wear your cardigans. Shown in size 5 on Aimee with 23cm of ease. 

Yarn: 5 (5, 5, 10, 10, 10, 10, 10, 10) skeins of Merino Sport by La Bien Aimée (100% merino; 355 yds 325 m / 100g). 1 (1, 1, 2, 2, 2, 2, 2, 2) skeins of each in 5 different colors. 

Sizes 1-3 contain 1 skein of each color in Caramel, Maize, Esmée, Artemisia and Emeline. 

Sizes 4-9 contain 2 skeins of each color in Caramel, Maize, Esmée, Artemisia and Emeline.
