Katherine has a passion for manipulating blown glass, in her quest to captivate the

viewer to interact with her artworks. Traditionally she adds the texture to the outside, however, with this series she has changed the perception of decorating a form by adding it to the inside of the vessel. Once you peer inside an incredible undulating quality is revealed. Katherine is pushing the boundaries of glassblowing and revealing an otherwise secret world, producing ‘functional’ shapes that are beautiful artworks.
