This special selection of Original Haze comes from a standout female I identified during a harvest of my greenhouse-grown Haze population. Known for its unique architecture and floral mass, this phenotype consistently produced the largest and most structurally impressive buds in the group.

Original Haze: Preserved Lineage

Original Haze was first developed in Santa Cruz, California in the late 1960s, composed of Colombian genetics from three distinct regions. Preserved by Skunkman Sam and maintained through decades of selective inbreeding, this variety represents one of the last remaining unhybridized tropical cultivars available today.

The Phenotype: Largest Buds Expression

During a particularly selective run of Original Haze, I sorted each female individually and harvested them separately. This seed batch comes exclusively from the plant with the most vigorous growth, best stacking, and largest floral sites of the entire population. The branching structure was ideal, and the scent carried that signature incense-forward aromatic profile unique to true Original Haze lines.

This is a highly expressive tropical variety with wide phenotypic variation, but this selection leans toward the more productive end of the spectrum while staying true to the Haze experience in structure and aroma.
