An alluring, plush nose of honeydew, ripe peaches and orange blossom is followed by a real vibrant mid-palate of spice, ginger, marmalade, lime and hint of oak. Almost oily in texture, there is excellent depth and weight, giving it real finesse. With plenty of acidity to keep it fresh, it's a wine of super complexity, with a excellent finish of spice, saline and orange pith. This is superb Semillon now, but I can't wait to try this in another five years!
