 S.B.S Trinidad 1993 is a single cask rum with an outcome of 222 bottles only. The rum is from Caroni Distillery and is based on molasses. The rum has been distilled in a pot still in 1993 and was bottled in our warehouse in Denmark in October 2021. The rum has matured in an ex-Bourbon barrel and was bottled at 49,6% abv. As common practice for Single Barrel Selection rums, no chill filtration has been used. This rum is a sister cask to our previously released ”The Beast”.

Nose: Alcoholic and chemical notes like polishes at first giving space for deep notes of dried dates, prunes and gingerbread.

Palate: Heavy aromas of charcoal and rubber in the beginning followed by herbaceous notes and a hint of salt. The finish is long and intense.
