Spencer Twin Shell Basket is a divisible stretcher intended for the recovery and transport of casualties for further medical treatment in challenging environments.

Ideal for use in challenging and hard to reach rescue operations where it is necessary to protect casualties from side impacts, even on uneven and hazardous ground.

The Spencer Twin Shell Basket Stretcher is the best equipment to use when it is not possible to intervene with conventional casualty recovery and transport equipment. The Twin Shell can be easily divided so that the two halves can be stored nested together.

Ideal for transporting casualties over:

• Steep & narrow stairs
• Scaffolding and construction sites
• Mines and in shafts
• On-board ships
• Helicopter lifts

The basket stretcher can easily be hoisted with lifting systems and can be applied to fixed anchor points/rings that run around the length of the stretcher. During lifting, the stretcher will remain in a horizontal position with respect to the ground.
