The MidNite Solar 600V Surge Protector Device (MNSPD) is a Type 1 device per UL1449 rev3. Protection for gridtie PV combiners and inverter input circuits.

Protection is achieved by reducing the clamping voltage to a safe level that your system can sustain without damaging any electronics in the system. The MNSPD is designed to clamp a 115,000 amp surge! Blue LED's provide visual indication of operation from a distance. For more information, see the installation manual below.
