The new GenStar MPPT is the first model in Morningstar’s new Integrated Series and represents the industry's first truly "smart" controller with all built-in intelligence, communications, and control features instead of requiring additional external components.

GenStar models have charge ratings of 60A, 80A, and 100A and include built-in load control. In addition, GenStar supports full network integration without requiring adapters or extra equipment: Modbus and ModbusIP via RS-485, Ethernet, WiFi, and MS-CAN for connecting Morningstar devices. GenStar also includes Morningstar’s LiveView 2.0 interface application.

GenStar is upgradable through Morningstar’s ReadyRail architecture and snap-in ReadyBlocks to provide additional features and capabilities. ReadyShunt enables metering/monitoring and critical measurements. ReadyRelay provides signaling and advanced load control. Finally, ReadyBMS delivers complete communications and management with lithium batteries.
