Decagon shaped kiln shelf. Size 21" x 22" x 5/8" and designed for a 23" opening model number KM-1027. Recommended for firing up to Cone 6.

Round Shelves vs. Multi-Sided Shelves:
There is no practical difference. Even though a multi-sided shelf will fit closer to the contours of most top loading electric kilns, it does not increase the amount of usable stacking space. This is because most pots are larger on the top than on the bottom and thus hang off of the shelf at the top anyway. The round shelf actually improves heat circulation within the kiln.
