The Sedona Red Clay is a rich red color before and after firing. It has excellent plasticity for all methods of clay modeling: slab, coil, pinching, and even wheel throwing. Does not slump or warp at low temperatures like other red clays. The firing range can extend up to Cone 02.
This clay has wide firing range of Cone 05–02 (1911°F–2052°F). At Cone 05, shrinkage is 11.7% and absorption is 7%. At Cone 02, shrinkage is 13% and absorption is 9.2%.

- CL (Caution Label) seal for safety in dry form
- Bisque is red at Cone 06 and a rich red brown at Cone 02
- AMACO® glazes maturing at Cone 05 can be used with this clay. Colored transparent AMACO® LT, O and A series glazes create unique effects on 67-M
