Woven with native Churro wool, Jalucie used all natural dyes to achieve the coloring in this piece. Indigo blue, cochineal red, and to get green she over-dyed Indigo blue with Rabbit Brush yellow. This piece is from our exclusive Churro collection.
This beautiful piece was featured in the Navajo Textiles as Modern Art exhibit held at Nizhoni Ranch Gallery March 11 - June 30 2017. You can find this weaving in the catalog Navajo Textiles As Modern Art on page 40.
This weaving was also part of the "The Next Phase", Desert Caballeros Western Museum - 2006.
