Hero Twin Teec Nos Pos. All hand carded, hand spun and hand dyed Lincoln wool. Pictorial Designs exemplifying multiple images of the Hero Twins ascending from the underworld (Hero Twins are part of the Navajo origin Story). Design also includes Water symbols and Medicine symbols. Clearly woven by a Master Weaver. Extremely well woven.
This weaving was part of the 2016 /2017 Painting with Wool : Navajo Pictorial Weavings exhibit at Nizhoni Ranch Gallery and is on page 26 of the catalog for the show.
